ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated role models who are keen to make positive changes to the tamariki and rangatahi we support in our community.
We are currently looking for experienced, calm and compassionate support workers within our Youth Service. It would be ideal if the candidate(s) had experience working alongside and building trust and understanding with young people. The young people we support may experience significant obstacles in their lives, which at times is expressed in complex behaviours.
You will walk alongside the people you are supporting, realising it is their journey and allow them a space to grow.
ABOUT CCT:
Community Care Trust’s Vision is a world that truly values and celebrates diversity. We work in partnership with adults and youth across Te Waipounamu (The South Island) who need some support in their lives to achieve their goals. We work alongside people to ensure they live the life they want and achieve their dreams and aspirations as valued and contributing people within their community.
CCT Youth Services in Dunedin include emergency housing, transitional housing, and Individual Care Response in a 24/7 supported environment, and community supports within the school, home, or community.
Our organisation has a strong commitment to safeguarding children and any employees will be vetted to a level appropriate to the role for which they have applied.
HOW TO APPLY:
We can fill you in about what makes us unique at an interview, or let us know if you have any questions by contacting Sandy or David on 0800 800 001
To work for us you must:
- Hold a current First Aid Certificate (or be willing to complete one at our cost)
