ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated role model who are keen to make a positive difference to the tamariki and rangatahi we support in our community. As a Permanent Reliever Support Worker in our Youth Services you will be available for full time hours with the flexibility to cover all shifts on a rotating roster and when regular staff are not available.
Hours of work will be over Sunday to Thursday over all shifts with Friday and Saturday off.
You will be rewarded with a competitive hourly rate of $29.10 and 5 weeks annual leave.
We are currently looking for experienced, calm and empathic support workers within our Youth Service. It would be ideal if the candidate(s) had experience working alongside and building trust and understanding with young people. The young people we support may experience significant obstacles in their lives, which at times is expressed in complex behaviours.
You will be a role model and mentor, helping youth to build self esteem, resilience and confidence. This is an opportunity to make a real difference as Youth Support Workers play a vital role in shaping a young person’s life, fostering emotional and social development and guiding them through the complexities of adolescence.

To work for us you must:
- Hold a current First Aid Certificate (or be willing to complete one at our cost)
- Hold a full current NZ Driver License (Essential)
- Be eligible to work in New Zealand
- Have a valid work visa with a minimum of 12 months until expiry
- Be able to work at least one weekend shift per week
