About the role | He kōrero whakamārama mō tēnei tūranga
We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated role models who are keen to make a positive difference to the tamariki and rangatahi we support in our residential and community services.
The young people we support may experience significant obstacles in their lives, which at times requires a trauma informed approach. So as a Youth Support Worker - Kaimahi Tautoko Rangatahi you would be a role model and mentor, helping youth to build self-esteem, resilience and confidence, alongside encouraging meaningful opportunities within their community.
This is an opportunity to make a real difference in shaping a young person’s life, fostering emotional and social development and guiding them through the complexities of adolescence.

What you will bring | Ngā tohunga mō tēnei tūranga
- Hold a current First Aid Certificate (or be willing to complete one at our cost)
- Hold a full current NZ Driver License (Essential)
- Be eligible to work in New Zealand
- Have a valid work or student visa with a minimum of 12 months until expiry
- Be able to work at least one weekend shift per week
