The Role | Te Tūranga
We are looking for a compassionate and experienced Service Manager to guide our Youth & Disability Services in Ōtepoti/Dunedin.
This role is about more than management – it’s about walking alongside our people, uplifting our teams, and building strong partnerships with whānau, hapori, agencies such as Oranga Tamariki and our local schools.
What You’ll Do | Ngā Kawenga Matua
- Provide mana-enhancing leadership and mentoring to 5 Team Leaders.
- Oversee services including emergency accommodation and community engagement supports.
- Keep the voices of rangatahi and whānau at the heart of all decisions.
- Build trusted relationships with Oranga Tamariki, schools, and community partners.
- Ensure our services are safe, effective, and always improving.
- Champion te ao Māori values and the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi in daily practice.
About You | Mōu
- A proven leader who inspires and supports others to do their best mahi.
- Experienced in the youth, disability, or social services sector with a minimum of 2 years’ experience managing a team.
- Skilled at building relationships with rangatahi, whānau, and community partners.
- Committed to trauma-informed and strengths-based practice.
- Confident in weaving te reo me ōna tikanga into everyday work.
- Driven by a genuine desire to make a positive difference.
