Fixed Term until January 2027 Full time position – 35 hours per week

We have an opportunity to join our values-driven not-for-profit organisation, providing Supported Living services in Alexandra (Manuherikia).

In this role, you will walk alongside people as they build confidence, set goals, strengthen friendships, and grow their independence in the community. Every day offers meaningful moments to encourage progress and support people to live the lives they choose.

Experience in support work is helpful but not essential. If you bring kindness, empathy, and a positive approach, we will provide the training and support you need to succeed.

You will work in a person-centred way — honouring each person’s choices, goals, and identity. Where personal care is required, you will uphold dignity and autonomy with compassion and respect.

What You Will Bring | Ngā pūkenga mō tēnei tūranga

Essential:

• Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain — we will support the cost)

• Full NZ Driver Licence

• Legal right to work in Aotearoa New Zealand (minimum 12 months remaining on visa if applicable)

You will also have:

• A warm, compassionate approach

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills

• Patience, reliability, and willingness to learn
