About the roles | He kōrero whakamārama mō tēnei tūranga
We are looking for an experienced Support Worker in our Supported Living Services to join our growing team in Nelson (Whakatū) and Motueka. This role supports people in their homes and communities.
You will work with individuals who have high and complex needs, including disability, trauma backgrounds and behavioural challenges. Using a trauma-informed and strengths-based approach, you’ll support people to build confidence, independence and meaningful community connections.
This role requires a high level of personal cares carried out with dignity and respect. Resilience is required as you will be supporting complex needs and challenging behaviour.
NB: This role we also require wake-over shifts to be completed as part of your roster.

Experience supporting people with high and complex needs
A calm, empathetic and flexible approach
A proactive and person-centred approach to support.
Have a valid work or student visa with a minimum of 12 months until expiry
Relevant Health and Wellbeing qualifications, or a willingness to work towards these
A full, clean NZ Driver’s licence
Have a valid work or student visa with a minimum of 12 months until expiry
