Employment Facilitator – Full Time (Ōtepoti Dunedin)
Make a real difference. Help create pathways into meaningful work.
Mō te Tūranga | About the Role
Are you passionate about supporting people to build fulfilling, self-directed lives and careers? We’re looking for a motivated, values-driven Employment Facilitator to join our team.
In this role, you’ll walk alongside disabled jobseekers, their whānau, and local employers to create opportunities for meaningful, sustainable employment. You’ll be part of a supportive team working to build more inclusive communities.
You’ll spend your time getting to know people—their strengths, goals, and aspirations—and supporting them through their employment journey, from job search through to settling into the workplace. You’ll also build strong relationships with local employers, helping to create inclusive opportunities, and support rangatahi as they transition from school into work.
Mōu | About You
You bring empathy, strong communication skills, and a genuine commitment to working alongside people with diverse abilities. You’re flexible, organised, and comfortable working across the community, with a full driver’s licence. A First Aid qualification is preferred, or you can complete one with our support. Knowledge of the Ōtepoti Dunedin community will be an advantage, along with a willingness to keep learning and growing in your practice.
