Community Care Trust Aotearoa is long-standing not-for-profit organisation committed to supporting people with disabilities to achieve their goals and thrive in the workplace. We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Employment Facilitator (Kaimahi Whakauru Mahi) to join our team in Invercargill (Waihōpai).
About the Role (Mō te Tūranga):
As an Employment Facilitator, you will work alongside people with diverse needs to help them become work ready. This is a rewarding role where every day is different, and you will:
- Provide one-on-one support and guidance to participants.
- Facilitate small group sessions focused on building skills for employment.
- Teach practical skills and confidence to support people in their journey to work.
- Build strong, positive relationships with participants, employers, and the wider community.
What we are looking for (Ngā Pūkenga e Rapu Nei Mātou):
- Empathy, patience, and understanding of people with diverse abilities.
- Excellent communication and rapport-building skills.
- Flexibility to meet individual needs (role is primarily Monday–Friday).
- A full, clean driver’s licence.
- First Aid Qualification (Or be willing to complete one at our cost)
- Strong knowledge of the Waihōpai / Southland community, networks, and services.
- Experience in facilitation or community support (training will be provided for the right person).
