Salary: $41,000 per annum @ 20 hours per week

About the role | He kōrero whakamārama mō tēnei tūranga
We’re seeking a motivated and professional Registered Nurse to join our High and Complex Needs Team (HCNT). Our HCNT work collaboratively with support staff, whanau, schools and other professionals to provide support to individuals. This role will support service delivery through clinical review, medication oversight and contributing to quality processes across the organisation. You’ll work closely with internal and external stakeholders helping to promote safe, effective care and champion best practice.
Key Responsibilities | Ngā mahi matua
Support the High & Complex Needs Team by providing clinical assessment, contributing to the development of individual care plans and monitoring and managing health conditions.
Oversee the application and control of CCT’s infection control practices
Review medication events across the organisation and contribute to improvements in medication policy & procedures.
Collaborate with wider CCT staff and other health professionals to support the management of a diverse range of health & disability needs.
Support quality assurance and clinical governance activities.
Provide training, clinical expertise and guidance where required.
Participate in team meetings and contribute to service enhancement initiatives.
Provide leadership with CCT health & wellbeing systems and processes including annual health checks.
About You
Registered Nurse with current NZ practicing certificate.
Preferably experience or interest in mental health nursing, dual diagnosis and supporting people with lived experience of trauma.
Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
Excellent communication and collaborative teamwork approach.
Ability to work autonomously
Proactive & person centred with values that align with CCT.
Experience with the assessment and management of risk
Have an understanding of models of support such as Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) and Trauma Informed Care.
Support & Development
Continuing professional development supported by CCT, including assistance with maintaining Nursing registration where required.

To work for us you must:
Hold a current First Aid Certificate (or be willing to complete one at our cost)
Be eligible to work in New Zealand and have a valid visa with a minimum of 12 months until expiry
Hold a FULL, clean New Zealand Driver License
