At Community Care Trust Aotearoa, we walk alongside people with high and complex needs to help them grow, thrive and achieve their aspirations. We’re looking for a compassionate, skilled High & Complex Needs Advisor to join our Invercargill (Waihōpai) team.

About the Role | He kōrero mō te tūranga
This role is about leadership with heart. You’ll work closely with support workers, whānau, schools and professionals to create environments where people feel safe, respected and empowered.
You would:
Coach and mentor support workers
Provide trauma-informed, person-centred guidance
Support Positive Behaviour Support approaches
Advocate for the voice and choices of the people we support
Contribute to the crisis behaviour on-call roster
This is a salaried, part-time role (20 hours per week with some flexibility required).
Travel may be required to other regions on occasion.
We are happy to offer additional hours as a Support Worker for applicants seeking full-time employment.
What you will bring | Ngā tohunga mō tēnei tūranga
Experience in youth, disability, or mental health services
Understanding of trauma-informed practice, PBS and ABA principles
Confidence in coaching and mentoring others
Strong communication and report-writing skills
A relevant tertiary qualification
A proactive, person-centred approach aligned with our values of Respect, Reliability, Transparency and Responsiveness
Full, clean NZ Driver Licence
Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
Eligibility to work in NZ (minimum 12 months remaining on visa)
