About the role | He kōrero whakamārama mō tēnei tūranga
As a Permanent Reliever/Support Worker in our Independent Living service you will work 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday, with flexibility to pick up some late-afternoon work. There may also be the opportunity to cover some weekend support on occasion. We support individuals one-on-one in the community to achieve their goals and in this role you will be working in a team of 30 support workers, based from our local office here in Dunedin. The primary role of a Permanent Reliever is to cover support staff that are on leave and ensure consistency for the people we support, and you will also get first option to cover sleepover shifts that may become available.

Willingness to complete Health and Wellbeing training and qualifications
Have a positive, can do attitude and a great work ethic.
Eligibility to work in New Zealand and have a valid work visa with a minimum of 12 months until expiry.
Hold a FULL, clean New Zealand Driver License (Essential)
Hold a current First Aid Certificate (or be willing to complete one at our cost)
