Are you caring, adaptable, and someone who enjoys variety in your work?

We’re looking for a Permanent Reliever Disability Support Worker to join our team in Whakatū Nelson.

This permanent role supports people across all our female only adult services in the Nelson region. You’ll work alongside different people and teams, providing support where it’s needed while helping people live the life they choose.

Flexibility is key. You’ll need to be comfortable working across all adult services and a varied roster, which may include mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and sleepovers/wakeovers.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Is warm, calm, reliable, and adaptable

• Is flexible to work across all adult services in Nelson

• Can provide personal care with dignity and respect, including for people with high and complex needs

• Communicates well and builds positive relationships

• Understands Enabling Good Lives principles, or is willing to learn

• Is available to work a varied roster, including weekends

You will also need a full, current New Zealand Driver Licence, a current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain one at our cost), and eligibility to work in New Zealand.

If you hold a work visa, you must have at least 12 months remaining before expiry.
