Community Based Support Workers – Dunedin | Ōtepoti

We’re looking for friendly, reliable people to join our Independent Living team in Dunedin, with both full-time and part-time opportunities available.
Mō tēnei tūranga | About the role
This is all about working alongside people to live the life they choose.
You’ll support people in their homes and communities, helping with everyday goals, building confidence and independence, getting out and about, and making meaningful community connections.
You’ll be part of a fun, supportive team of around 30 Community Based Support Workers. You’ll have plenty of independence in your day, while knowing there’s always a team behind you when you need them.

Up to $30.06 per hour, depending on qualifications
Predominantly daytime hours with permanent set shifts
The same two consecutive days off each week

Mōu | About you
You don’t need years of experience. We’re looking for people who are warm, reliable, good communicators and genuinely enjoy working alongside others.
You’ll need:
A full current New Zealand Driver Licence
A First Aid Certificate, or willingness to complete one
The legal right to work in New Zealand
At least 12 months remaining if you hold a work visa
Availability to work your regular set shifts, including one weekend day
